Mr. Shpytkovsky has over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry throughout Canada and northern parts of the United States. His expertise is in horizontal and critical sour drilling operations, well completions, field operations, production optimization and property evaluations. Mr. Shpytkovsky is currently President of West Rock Energy Consultants Ltd. a private Calgary based oil & gas consulting company. Previously he held the position of Drilling & Completions Manager at Compton Petroleum Corporation where he was instrumental in the planning and implementation process that resulted in a production growth to over 30,000 boepd from 3,600 boepd. During his career he has held various technical positions at Cavell Energy Ltd, Inverness Petroleum Ltd. and Norcen Energy Resources Ltd. He is a member of Canadian Association of Drilling Engineers and Society of Professional Engineers.
